The Great Bend Middle School seventh-grade girls’ basketball team started their season with a pair of victories, beating Colby 40-9 and Goodland 46-7 at the Hays Tournament on Saturday.
Great Bend took both an ‘A’ and a ‘B’ team to McPherson on Tuesday, both falling against the Bullpups.
The ‘A’ team suffered a 45-17 setback, and the ‘B’ team fell 29-8.
Both teams are at home at the Panther Activity Center today against Salina Lakewood, starting at 3:45 p.m.
