HAYS HUSTLE DREHER 8, QUICKSILVER 4 (CHAMPIONSHIP) – Claflin's Kashlin Beck drilled a grand slam homer to spark Hays Hustle Dreher (16-2) past Great Bend Quicksilver in Sunday's softball championship game. Quicksilver (24-5) won six of seven softball games.
Hays' Alyse Zimmerman drove home three runs and Kinlee May drove in a run for an 8-0 lead. Quicksilver's Katherine Mazouch hit a 3-run homer to score Camo Post and Kya Behr. Mazouch scored on a bases-loaded walk.
QUICKSILVER 3, COZAD CLASSICS 2 – Quicksilver rallied for a 3-2 victory. Camo Post scored on a passed ball. Prilling singled home Mazouch. Kamryn Koelsch singled home Ringo with the winning run. Turner and Chayla Prendergast combined for the victory.
QUICKSILVER 13, LAJUNTA, COLO. 1 – Quicksilver’s Mazouch delivered three singles, drove home two runs and scored twice. Denver Ringo homered and drove in two runs. Camo Post, Braelyn Turner, Behr, Rylee Prilling and Josie Blevins drove in runs.
QUICKSILVER 9, PRATT POWER 1 – Quicksilver’s Mazouch, Ringo and Halle Post each drove home two runs. Camo Post and Behr each delivered three hits. Alyssa McCauley, Ringo and Kamryn Koelsch each had two hits.
QUICKSILVER 4, HUSTLE RYERSEE 0 – Quicksilver’s Prendergast struck out five batters in a 4-hit shutout. Camo Post scored on Mazouch's sacrifice fly. Blevins scored on Halle Post's single. Camo Post scored on a passed ball. Ringo scored on Halle Post's groundout for a 4-0 score.
QUICKSILVER 13, HAYS HUSTLE 0 – Quicksilver’s Turner threw a 2-hit shutout with three strikeouts.
Mazouch homered and drove home three runs. Ringo drove home two runs. Bahr, Alyssa McCauley and Turner each drove home a run.
QUICKSILVER 6, NEBRASKA SENSATIONS 2 – Quicksilver’s Behr, Mazouch and Ringo each drove in two runs. Prendergast earned the victory.
