Panther track wins five events

BUHLER –  Great Bend’s boys swept the 1,600-meter relay (3:33.08); the 3,200-meter relay (8:36.17) and won three individual events at Friday’s Buhler Track Invitational.

The Panthers’ other winners were Jesus Sanchez, 800 (2;04.86); Josh Tomlin, 1,600 (3:38.61); and Candice Smith, high jump (5-0).

Great Bend’s runner-up finishers were Peyton Duvall, javelin (154-1); Jaclynn Schroeder, high jump (5-0); and the girls 3,200-meter relay (10:23.61).
