HOISINGTON 71, KINSLEY 9

LARNED – Hoisington’s Jordyn Boxberger scored 18 points and Addy Mason added 11 points as the Cardinals rolled past Kinsley 71-9 in Tuesday’s Keady Basketball Classic.

Kylee Hahn added 10 points. Hoisington’s pressure defense turned 23 Kinsley turnovers into 31 points. The Cardinals (1-1) play Bucklin in Friday’s semifinals.

The Cardinals roared to a 39-0 lead when Kinsley banked in a free throw. Seconds later, Mason Habiger celebrated a banked-in 3-pointer. Suddenly, Kinsley scored seven points in two minutes.
