CENTRAL PLAINS GIRLS 50, ST. JOHN 33 — The Central Plains girls swept their 68th consecutive Central Prairie League game with a 50-33 victory over St. John. The Oilers (11-3, 4-0 CPL) move into first place. 

Oilers Brynna Hammeke and Kyla Metro each scored 13 points. The Oilers converted six 3-pointers and outscored the Tigers 18-6 from 3-point range.

The Tigers (9-6, 4-1 CPL) lost their first league game. Heidi Fisher scored 12 points and Mia Meyer added six points.

The teams combined for 17 3-pointers, nine by St. John and eight by the Oilers. St. John's Quade Smith (16), Marco Ibarra (12) and Conner illespie (10) scored in double figures.
