HOISINGTON — Hoisington's Chase Robinson led the defense with a fumble recovery and interception. Joshua Ball and Holt Hanzlick each scored two touchdowns in a 32-22 Central Kansas League football victory over Halstead.
Robinson returned a fumble 36 yards to set up Holt Hanzlick's game-opening 9-yard touchdown. Robinson's interception sealed the victory.
Ball rushed for 119 yards and scored on 12- and 88-yard touchdown runs. Hanzlick gained 76 yards and scored on 9- and 8-yard touchdowns. The Cardinals gained 374 yards rushing.
Halstead back Lakin Farmer rushed for 197 yards and scored on a 63-yard run. Cameron Kohr scored on a 55-yard run and Kaden Lopez scored on a 52-yard fumble return.
