HOISINGTON — Ellinwood's Britton Dutton scored 19 points to lead a balanced offense past LaCrosse 72-33 in Thursday's semifinals of the Hoisington Winter Jam basketball tournament. The Eagles (9-1) outscored the Leopards 28-7 in the third period behind an effective trapping defense.

Tyler Stuhlsatz scored 13 points with 11 rebounds and six assists. Koy Behnke (11) and Parker Scheck (10) scored in double figures. Sparkplug Alek Brack added eight points. LaCrosse's Blake Pierce scored 13 points.
