HOISINGTON — Macy Hammerschmidt scored 26 points to spark Victoria past pesky Ellinwood 63-57 in Thursday's semifinal in the Hoisington Winter Basketball Jam. 

Victoria (6-4) outscored Ellinwood 18-8 in the decisive third period. Hammerschmidt scored 13 points in each half. Lameny Huser scored 13 points.

Ellinwood (6-4) was sparked by Brittany Simpson with 20 points and a trio of 3-pointers. Bella Baker scored 12 points and Mya Maxwell scored 11 points.

HOISINGTON — Pratt's Lexi Walker drilled four 32-pointers and scored 24 points as the Greenbacks roared past LaCrosse 62-27 in Thursday's Hoisington Winter Basketball Jam. Pratt used a 27-2 scoring run for a 36-9 lead. Pratt scored 24 points off 34 LaCrosse turnovers.
