LARNED — Larned's baseball team scored 29 runs to overpower winless Hillsboro 16-0 and 13-2 in Tuesday's Central Kansas doubleheader. Larned (4-6 CKL) travels to Halstead (5-5) Friday.

LARNED 16, HILLSBORO 0 (G1) — Larned pitcher Cade Colglazier spun a 1-hit shutout and drove home four runs to spark an opening victory. Colglazier hit the game-ending double.

Larned's Caden Morgan drove home three runs. Deacon Martin, Tristan Regan and Carson Shaver each drove in two runs. Brady Hope scored four runs.

LARNED 13, HILLSBORO 2 (G2) — Larned's Morgan and Hope each drove home two runs. The Indians delivered four doubles and a triple. Colglazier, Martin, Shaver and Mason Miller each drove home a run.

The Indians scored eight second-inning runs. Larned took advantage of four Hillsboro walks, four errors and six wild pitches.
