LARNED GIRLS — Kaylee Hagerman enjoyed a rewarding 3A track meet with a runner-up in the long jump (17-51/4), runner-up on the record-breaking 400-meter relay (49.89), sixth-place in the 200 meters (26.57) and seventh place in the triple jump (34-61/4). Her sister Jayme Hagerman placed third in the triple jump (35-101/4).

The Indians' school-record time in the 400-meter relay featured Teagan Walker, Alexa Beltz and the Hagerman sisters. The Indians' 1,600-meter relay placed sixth (4:13.76).

Kaylee's best "race" of the day came when she sprinted to the triple jump medal stand moments after finishing the relay.

"Our relay was my favorite event," Kaylee Hagerman said. "It's such a fun race with my team. Yesterday, we ran a school record and today we broke it again. I was warmed up for the relay. I ran over to my relay spot and we started running."
