ST. JOHN — The No. 1 state-ranked Little River girls displayed all their talent while dominating St. John 61-31 in Saturday's non-league basketball game.
Arika Feldman scored 26 points and converted a trio of 3-pointers. Avery Lafferty scored 11 points. Little River dominated the offensive boards and scored 21 second-chance points in the first half. Feldman and Lafferty combined for 16 second-chance points.
St. John's Jalyn Fisher played brilliantly with a 15-point effort and a pair of 3-pointers.
The Redskins (9-0) led 21-11 after one quarter and 36-19 at halftime.

LITTLE RIVER 60, ST. JOHN 41 — Little River outscored the Tigers 27-11 after halftime keyed by lock-down defense in Saturday's non-league basketball game.
Wyatt Mawhirter converted two baskets and Jace Reyes scored for a 7-0 run for a 33-30 score. The score was tied at 35 when the Redskins outscored the Tigers 25-6 in the final 13 minutes.
Little River's Jackson Konen scored 21 points and Lincoln Raleigh added 13 points. Raleigh hit back-to-back 3-pointers for a 46-39 lead.
St. John's Emmett Delp scored nine points.
