Great Bend UFC go undefeated in summer season

The Great Bend United FC 12-and-under boys’ team went undefeated during their summer season.
They played in the Kansas City Invitational on Memorial Day weekend in May.
Great Bend went 3-0 in bracket play, outscoring their opponents 16-2. It took down Andover United 5-1, BSC Athletics 4-1 and SKV Select Gremio 7-0.
Great Bend was declared co-champions due to the title game against Mid Kansas United getting rained out.
Great Bend attended the Sunflower State Games on July 27-28, again going undefeated.
Their next tournament will be in Hutchinson on Sept. 21-22 as they compete in the Mason Wedel Memorial Soccer Tournament.
