Panthers lose to Manhattan 47-25

The night’s premier match went Manhattan’s way when Blaisen Bammes downed returning Great Bend state champion Wyatt Weber 14-6 in Thursday’s dual wrestling match. Manhattan downed the Panthers 47-25. Weber captured the 5A state championship at 138 pounds last year.

Panthers who earned wins by pins were Avery Wolf (120), Robby Gutierrez (132) and Matthew Johnson (182). Winning by decisions were Kaden Spragis (126) and Vaiden Weinrich (170).
