The Great Bend Fire Department played host to the 11th annual Firefighters Run for MDA on Saturday at Fire Station #1.
The 10-kilometer run, the 5k run and the 2-mile walk all started at 8 a.m. There were 11 participants in the 10k, 46 in the 5k and 21 in the 2-mile walk.
The overall male winner of the 10k was Jim McMullen in a time of 46:01 minutes. The overall female 10K winner was Marcia Williams (51:35).
Kole Stiner, who competed in the Class 6-1A state track and field championships and graduated last month from Great Bend High School, was the overall male winner of the 5k, clocking 17:48, while the overall female winner was Kylie Crawford (23:33).
