GREENSBURG — Macksville, St. John, Central Plains and Stafford qualified for the 1A state track meet at the Greensburg regional.

MACKSVILLLE —  Macksville boys qualified three relays to highlight seven state entries. The 400-meter relay (44.23) ran Hector Gomez, Lance Lickiss, Diego Esparza and Orion Guevera. The 1,600-meter relay (3:41.0) competed with Lickiss, Guevara, Alexis Barron and Ryan Kuckelman. The 3,200-meter relay (8:55.52) competed with Barron, Guevara, Jesse Nava and Lickiss. 

Others qualifying were Isabela Ortiz, 100 (13.07); Macksville's 400-meter girls relay (52.46) with Sheridyn Black, Laney Butler, Kira Figger, Isabela Ortiz and Guadalupe Galan; shot put (35-31/2); and Mayce Russell, javelin (119-4).

ST. JOHN — Quade Smith won the 800 meters (2:03.19) to headline four state qualifiers. 

The Tigers qualified in the 400-meter relay with Heidi Fisher, Lydia Reed, Mia Meyer, Reagan Bonner; the girls 1,600-meter relay (4:19.24) with Bonner, Meyer, Fisher and Reed; and the boys 1,600-meter relay with Jace Reyes, Caden McCandless, Braxton Alpers and Quade Smith.

CENTRAL PLAINS —  Blaine Hickel was a double state qualifier in the 100 meters (11.29) and 200 (23.09). Lauren Oser won the javelin (121-0).

STAFFORD — Jauzalynn Blanton qualified in the long jump (15-103/4). Ashton Harter (45-3) qualified in the shot put.
