CLAFLIN — No. 1 ranked Central Plains rolled past Otis-Bison 59-18 as Brynna Hammeke scored 23 points and Kassidy Nixon added 12 points. The Oilers (11-3, 3-0 CPL) led 35-4 at halftime and outscored the Cougars 22-6 in the third quarter.

Johanna Baalman and Morrison each scored six points for the Cougars.

LACROSSE — LaCrosse's Taylor Marvin scored the game-wining bank shot for a 42-41 victory over Macksville in Tuesday's Central Prairie League basketball game. Brooke Herrman protected Marvin on a pick for the winning score. 

Macksville's Maycie Russell gave the Mustangs a 41-40 lead on a free throw. Russell and Abi Ibarra each scored two free throws for a 40-36 lead. Herrman scored two free throws and an inside basket for a 40-40 tie.  The Leopards outscored the Mustangs 13-7 in the fourth quarter.

Russell scored 18 points. Abi Ibarra contributed 10 points, seven rebounds and five steals. Herrman scored 18 points and Kathryn Thielenhaus added 14 points.
