Victoria's Leo Schmeidler scored 13 points with seven in the fourth quarter.

HOISINGTON — The Ellinwood Eagles held off Hoisington 54-50 in Friday's Winter Jam semifinal after nearly losing an 18-point lead (35-17). Unbeaten Ellinwood survived after all-state Britton Dutton fouled out at the Hoisington Winter Jam.
Parker Scheck saved the victory with a hustling steal after the Cardinals sliced the lead to 49-44. Dutton scored 18 points and Cody Zink added 12 points. The Eagles converted 21 of 36 free throws.
Hoisington's Bralen Thompson highlighted a 20-point night with a slam dunk. Leyton Haxton added 10 points.
