STAFFORD 58, WILSON 42

WILSON – Stafford's Kleyton Schreiber rushed for 243 yards and four touchdowns to spark the Trojans past Wilson 58-42 in a wild 8-man football game. Schreiber scored on runs of 2, 29, 38 and 54 yards. Stafford (2-0) outscored Wilson 30-12 after halftime.

Stafford quarterback Dylan Gantz threw two touchdown passes to Josh Hildebrand and one to Tarrant Young. Tai Hildebrand rushed for 161 yards and one touchdown. Young had two interceptions and Gantz had 14 tackles. 

Wilson back Camryn Eberhart scored four touchdowns and rushed for 145 yards. Cooper Weinhold scored on a 54-yard kickoff return and scored two rushing touchdowns.

ASHLAND 77, PAWNEE HEIGHTS 31

ASHLAND – Pawnee Heights quarterback Adam Hands completed five touchdown passes and Braden Colglazier caught four touchown receptions in a 77-31 loss to Ashland in 6-man football. Hands threw for 219 yards to go with 14 tackles.

Colglazier had 129 yards receiving, 30 yards rushing and eight tackles. Junior Cordero caught one touchdown reception and had 97 yards receiving. Davin Hamby intercepted a pass, rushed for three yards and had one tackle. Reed Stedje had one tackle and two yards receiving.

Ashland led 32-0 after five minutes when the Tigers committed four turnovers that the Bluejays converted into touchdowns. Ashland led 52-13 with two minutes left in the half.

"We were down 52-13, but the boys with only six players due to injuries continued to fight," said Pawnee Heights coach Keenan Rasmussen. "We made it a game until four minutes were left. I could not have asked any more of these boys."

Ashland quarterback Landon McPhail rushed for three touchdowns and completed a touchdown pass to Kash McPhail. Kale Harris rushed for three touchdowns. Braton Kay scored two touchdowns. Kash McPhail, Britt Grigsby and Jose Amaya each scored touchdowns. Kash McPhail and Braton Kay each recovered fumbles.

SYLVAN-LUCAS 48, OTIS-BISON 0

OTIS – Sylvan-Lucas quarterback Jaxson Heenan scored two rushing touchdowns for passed for a score in a 48-0 football victory over Otis-Bison.

Heenan scored on 1-and 4-yard runs and completed a 37-yard scoring strike to William Rudolph. Lane Homewood scored twice and Marshall Hurlbut, Gurirun Boor added rushing touchdowns.  Sylvan-Lucas rushed for 258 yards. Rudolph, Alex Hernandez and Elijah Urban intercepted passes.

Otis-Bison (0-2) was sparked by quarterback Kaden Foust with 37 yards rushing and 33 yards passing.
