SCOTT CITY — The Great Bend Middle School 8th-grade girls basketball team swept Scott City Tuesday.
The Great Bend eighth-grade A team rallied behind Emma Wasinger who scored eight points and grabbed eight rebounds for a 26-17 victory. The team improved to 10-1.
The Panther B team defeated the Beavers 36-9 led by Sarah Mehlhaff with nine points. The B team improves to 11-0.
