WICHITA – Great Bend’s distance girls dominated with four relay wins at the Wichita East Relays. The Panthers scored 1854 points to win their fourth consecutive track meet.

Winning relays were 1,600m sprint medley (4:34.3) with Makenzie Premer, Valarie Luna, Daizy Gomez, Eliana Beckham; 3,200m relay (10:49.85) with Emilia Diaz, Hannah Loomis, Addy Nicholson, Emma Loomis; 4,000m distance medley (13:54.5) with Loomis, Loomis, Beckham, Diaz; and a 4-by-1,600 relay (8:21.0) with Diaz, Nicholson, Allyson Kaiser, Loomis.

Winning field events were Taryn Warren, shot put (38-10); discus (110-11); Macy Nachtigal, javelin (105-10); and Candice Smith, triple jump (33-4). Makenzie Premer won the 300 hurdles (48.22).

Great Bend's boys finished runner-up in the 4,000m distance medley (11:23.66) with Jamie Arellanes, Cayden Scheuerman, Kaden Deines and Kaiden Esfeld competing. Madison Regehr placed third in the 110-meter (17.99) and 300-meter hurdles (44.12).
