WICHITA — Great Bend's boys shot a 5,346 pin total to place ninth, barely missing bracket play at the recent Great Plains bowling tournament.

Panther Tyler Pelster shot 653 to place 20th in the series competition with games of 203, 225 and 225. The Panthers shot seris games of 741, 882 and 811 to finish with 2,434 pins.

Zoey Mayberry shot 600 (177-213/210) to lead the Great Bend girls. Great Bend's girls rolled a 1,904 series total with games of 548, 701 and 655.
