DODGE CITY — No. 1 state-ranked Breanna Ridgway (17-0, 126) captured first place at the Dodge City Wrestling Tournament. Ridgeway earned five pins, inlcuding a championship victory over Emporia’s No. 4 ranked Madelynn Griffin (1:10).

Placing runner-up were Panthers Daizy Gomez (10-2, 120); Lexi Deines (9-4, 132) and Sierra Ferguson (11-7, 138). Dodge City’s Arianna De La Rosa pinned Gomez (5:43) for first place. No. 3 ranked Garden City’s Anjelina Serrano pinned Deines twice in 2:35 and 2:19 for the championship. Dodge City’s Dayanara Garcia pinned Ferguson (1:28) in the championship match.

Great Bend scored 133 points to finish fourth behind champion Dodge City (169).
