PAWNEE HEIGHTS 50, RANSOM WESTERN PLAINS 42 — First-year Pawnee Heights boys basketball coach John Giffin earned a celebration with his first high school coaching victory when the Tigers outlasted Western Plains 54-42 Tuesday night.

"That's my first high school varsity basketball win ever," said Giffin, who has coached at various levels, but never as a high school varsity head coach.

Cody Holste scored a career high 26 points with four 3-pointers. Logan Enabnit added 15 points and a pair of 3-pointers.
