Central Plains and Stafford High School have qualified for the state football playoffs. Central Plains has earned its second Eight-Man I playoff appearance after Claflin and Quivira Heights consolidated. Five-time state champion Claflin has 23 playoff appearances and state champion Quivira Heights has 12 playoff appearances.
