KIOWA COUNTY — Reagan Phelan unleashed 21 points, including a trio of 3-pointers, leading the Central Plains High School girls’ basketball team over Kiowa County on Tuesday night.
The Lady Oilers, who are ranked No. 8 in Class 2A on the latest Kansas Basketball Coaches Association poll, led 31-22 at halftime and held the lead steady in the second half.
Taylor Rolfs scored 14 points for Central Plains.

MACKSVILLE — La Crosse get ahead early, leading 10-3 after one quarter, but Macksville closed the gap to 27-26 by halftime.
The Lady Leopards pulled ahead for good in the second half.
Sophie Filbert led Macksville scorers with 12 points.
