Class 3A
Southwestern Heights (4-15)
at Hoisington (17-3)

The Hoisington High School boys’ basketball team, as the No. 2 seed, hosts Southwestern Heights of Kismet on Tuesday night at 6:30.
The Cardinals are coming off of a 74-36 win against Mid-Central Activities Association opponent Larned, on Friday night.
Southwestern Heights, the No. 7 seed, lost to Cimmarron on Thursday night, 59-48.
 
Larned (4-16) at Scott City (19-1)
Larned will travel to Scott City on Tuesday night at 7.
The Indians are going into sub-state on the coattails of a 74-36 loss to Hoisington on Friday.
Scott City, which has only lost one game this season, beat Colby on Thursday, 65-34.
 
Class 2A
Ellinwood (9-11) at Inman (15-5)
Ellinwood, as the No. 4 seed, looks to edge the No. 3-seeded Inman on Monday night at 7.
The Lady Eagles last game was on Feb. 22 against Moundridge, where they lost 61-31.
Inman last played against Herrington on Feb. 22, edging the Lady Railroaders, 47-44.
 
Class 1A Division-I
Spearville (4-14) at St. John (9-10)

St. John, seeded No. 4, will host No. 5-seeded Spearville on Tuesday night at 7.
The Tigers last played on Feb. 22 against Otis-Bison, losing 53-49.
Spearville dropped their final regular season game to Meade on Feb. 22, 73-38.
 
Claflin (4-16) at Little River (12-8)
Claflin will travel to No. 3-seeded Little River on Tuesday night at 7.
The Wildcats, the No. 6 seed, won their final game of the regular season against Western Plains, 72-22.
Little River also won its final game against Canton-Galva, 51-39.
 
Macksville (19-1) — BYE
The No. 2-seeded Macksville Mustangs will be idle on Tuesday and will face the winner of the South Central-Fairfield game on Friday night in the second round.
 
Class 1A Division-II
Western Plains (0-19)
at Otis-Bison (11-8)

Otis-Bison will host winless Western Plains in the first round of their sub-state bracket on Tuesday night at 7.
The Cougars, the No. 3 seed, won a close game on Feb. 22 against St. John, 53-49.
The No. 6-seeded Western Plains lost to Claflin, 72-22, to close out the regular season.
 
Natoma (11-9)
at Quivira Heights (8-12)

The Natoma Tigers travel to Bushton to challenge the No. 4-seeded Quivira Heights Thunderbirds on Tuesday night at 7.
Quivira Heights’ last game was Friday against Victoria, which the Thunderbirds lost in overtime, 56-55.
Natoma, the No. 5 seed, lost to Hoxie on Friday night, 65-25.
 
Stafford (4-12) at Bucklin (6-12)
Stafford, as the No. 5 seed, will travel to the No. 4-seeded Bucklin on Tuesday night, with the game at 7.
The Trojans are coming off of a loss to Pretty Prairie, 62-53.
Bucklin also lost its final game of the regular season, dropping a Feb. 22 game against Kiowa County, 47-34.
 
GIRLS
Class 3A
Hoisington (9-11)
at Thomas More Prep-Marian (16-4)

Hoisington’s Monday-night matchup pits the Lady Cardinals against Thomas More Prep-Marian in Hays at 7.
Hoisington, seeded No. 6, topped Larned on Friday night, 38-32.
The No. 3-seeded TMP-Marian bested Hutchinson-Trinity on Friday night, 52-43.
 
Goodland (10-10)
at Larned (10-10)

No. 4-seeded Larned will host Goodland in the first round of sub-state on Monday night at 7.
The Lady Indians lost to Mid-Central Activities Association foe Hoisington on Friday night, 38-32.
Goodland, the No. 5 seed, lost to Ulysses on Friday night, 56-41.
 
Class 2A
Ellinwood (4-16)
at Moundridge (15-5)

Ellinwood, seeded No. 5 in the bracket, will travel to Moundridge, the No. 4 seed, on Monday night, to start sub-state at 7.
The two teams met previously on Feb. 22, where Moundridge toppled Ellinwood at home, 58-37.
Class 1A Division-I
Ashland (4-15)
at Macksville (10-10)

Ashland will travel to the Stable on Monday night to play its first-round game against Macksville at 7.
The Lady Mustangs, enters the bracket at the No. 4 seed, lost on Thursday night to Kinsley, 56-46.
Ashland, the No. 5 seed, lost to Ingalls on Feb. 18, 54-36.
 
St. John (17-2) — Bye
St. John, as the No. 2 seed, is idle in the first round and will play the winner of the Spearville-Fairfield game in the second round on Thursday.
 
Claflin (17-3) — Bye
Claflin, as the No. 2 seed, is idle in the first round and will play the winner of the Lost Springs-Goessel game in the second round on Thursday.
 
Class 1A Division-II
Chase (2-15) at Otis-Bison (6-14)

Otis-Bison hosts Chase on Monday night at 7 to begin its run at sub-state champion.
The Lady Cougars, the No. 4 seed, lost to Sylvan-Lucas, 58-42, to close out their regular season.
The No. 5-seeded Chase won its last game against Elyria Christian of McPherson on Friday night, 40-27.
 
Pawnee Heights (1-18)
at Fowler (5-14)

Monday, Pawnee Heights challenges Fowler in the first round of sub-state.
The Lady Tigers, who enter the sub-state bracket as the No. 5 seed, dropped their final regular-season game to Plainville, 62-30.
Fowler, the No. 4 seed, beat Moscow, 48-28, on Thursday.
 
Quivira Heights (11-8) — BYE
Quivira Heights will play its first sub-state game on Thursday against the winner of the Natoma-Western Plains game.
