Area teams compete at Larned meet

LARNED — Larned High School hosted its boys golf meet on Tuesday with Ellinwood, Hoisington and Pawnee Heights among the schools competing.
The Indians placed highest among area teams, taking second place with a score of 341.
Tague Conrad led Larned by taking first place overall at the meet with a score of 74.
Right behind him was teammate Michael Reece, who turned in a score of 76.
Thomas More Prep-Marian of Hays claimed first place, shooting 337.
Ellinwood claimed fourth place, finishing with 377 and Hoisington finished right behind them with 382 to take fifth place.
Luke Becker led the Cardinals with a score of 87 to put him in 10th place.
Derek Moos finished on top of the Eagles team, shooting 90 to finish in 14th place.
Pawnee Heights shot a 531 to finish in 10th.
