Back-to-back for GBHS

For the second time this month, the Great Bend High School basketball teams will have back-to-back games.
Tonight, GBHS travels to Dodge City for Western Athletic Conference action at the DCHS Fieldhouse. The girls game starts at 6, followed by the boys at around 8.
On Saturday night, GBHS returns home to . take on WAC foe Liberal. The start times will be the same as Friday’s games.
On Feb 3, Great Bend traveled to Liberal and split with the Redskins.
The Lady Panthers rallied to beat Liberal 39-19, and will take a 2-15, 1-4 record into this weekend.
The Panthers (5-12, 1-4), meanwhile, will be trying to exact some revenge after losing to Liberal 77-75 in three overtime periods.
On Feb, 4, Great Bend’s most recent action, both teams lost to Manhattan.
Dodge City’s boys (8-9, 4-1) lost to Garden City (8-10, 5-1) on Tuesday night in a boys WAC battle, 53-47.
