OTIS — Otis-Bison kept the game close after one quarter, but Ness City extended its lead in the second and fourth quarters to beat the Cougars on Friday night.
Otis-Bison was led by Dominic Trapp, who scored 11 points.
Trevor Keller, who hit the team’s only 3-pointer, added nine points.

The Wildcats were led by Benn Kirmer, who rang up a game-high 17 points.
Christian Heitschmidt joined him in double digits with 13 points, including 5 of 5 from the free-throw line.

ELLINWOOD — Hoisington, which is ranked No. 5 in Class 3A, broke off a 23-point second quarter to take the lead and never relinquished it against Ellinwood on Friday night.
Ryan Bieberle exploded for 23 points to led the Cardinals, including a pair of 3-pointers and 5-for-5 from the line.
Cody Stetler and Derrick Kaiser each added nine points.
The Eagles looked to Kyle Corbett, who put in nine points. Kyle Blakeslee was right behind him with eight.
