SALINA – Ell-Saline pitchers Joel Came and Kaden Griffin combined for a two-hit shutout as the Cardinals eliminated Ellinwood 9-0 in Monday’s 2A Salina baseball regional.

Ellinwood (1-18) managed singles by Ryan Niles and Lane Klepper. Luke Wondra, Tyler Knop and David Hammeke drew walks. The Eagles have won one game the past two baseball seasons.

Ell-Saline’s Owen Bradley and Griffin each drove home two runs.
