Ellinwood girls sweep pair

SUBLETTE — Ellinwood pitcher Allison Panning threw a no-hitter in the second game as the Eagles roared past Sublette 12-2 and 11-0 in a fotball doubleheader sweep April 13.
ELLINWOOD 12, SUBLETTE 2 — Katelyn Panning drilled five singles and drove in two runs. Kaitlyn Pohlman and Kenna Oelke each drove in two runs. Brittney Beck doubled and tripl,ed and drove in a run. Oelke and Kaitlyn Robinson each had two hits.
ELLINWOOD 11, SUBLETTE 0 — Pitcher Allison Panning struck out nine batters while throwing a no-hitter. At the plate, Panning doubled twice and drove in four runs.
Beck and Oelke also drove in two runs for Ellinwood (5-2), which plays at Plainville Tuesday and at Hays-Thomas More Prep Thursday.
