Ellinwood girls win regional

HILL CITY — Ellinwood’s girls won the Hill City Class 2A cross country regional with 26 points to return to Class 2A state at Wamego. Abbie Reichuber placed third (20:57.72) and Joanna Strecker was fourth (21:08.65).
Ellinwood’s boys also qualified with 69 points. Avery Pike led Ellinwood’s boys with a sixth-place (18:36.59).
