The Ellinwood Middle School tennis team won four of six divisions in the Great Bend Middle School Tennis Tournament at Veterans Park.
Ellinwood’s No. 2 singles Lane Klepper, No. 3 singles Cameron Stevenson, No. 2 doubles Emily Frakes and Anahi Mandez and No. 3 doubles Shaun Weber and Whittney Hammeke captured first place with 4-0 records.
The Great Bend Middle School No. 1 doubles black team of Abbie Moyers and Remi Ingram finished first with a 3-0 record.
Smoky Valley’s McKinley Johnson captured No. 1 singles with Ellinwood’s Caleb Robl finishing runner-up.
Finishing runner-up were Great Bend’s Brody Feist, No. 3 singles; Great Bend Black’s Anna Popp and Mollie Phillips, No. 3 doubles; and Great Bend Black’s Madison Huslig and Melyne Fletchall, No. 3 doubles.
Brody Feist played as a substitute for a Lyons entry that went unfilled.
