As the start of the 2012 high school season looms, fall preseason scrimmages are under way for Great Bend High School.
Tonight, starting at 8 at Memorial Stadium, the GBHS soccer team will be unveiled to the public. Admission is a sports drink.
On Friday, the Lady Panthers’ volleyball team and the Panthers’ football team will be conducting their scrimmages, starting with the volleyball team at 5 p.m. at Panther Fieldhouse. Admission to the gymnasium is a sports drink or bottled water. The GBHS junior varsity will take on the freshman team, followed by an all-varsity scrimmage at 5:30. At 6, the varsity will take on the JV.
At 6:30, activities move to Memorial Stadium, where the freshman football team will be introduced, followed by a varsity/junior varsity scrimmage at 7.
