The Great Bend High School varsity baseball team's scheduled season-opening doubleheader with Liberal, set for 4 today at the City of Great Bend Sports Complex, has been postponed.

Heavy rains in the area on Monday night made for soggy conditions at the new ballpark.

A makeup date has yet to be determined.
