GARDEN CITY — The Great Bend High School girls’ bowling team remains unbeaten after taking first place in Garden City on Thursday.
The Lady Panthers are 10-0 for the season, 5-0 in the Western Athletic Conference.
GBHS was led by Miranda Hejny, who rolled a 641 series. Hejny is at the top of the WAC with an average game of 202.
Jacy Quade is right behind her in the WAC, averaging 199.6. Quade bowled a 612 series and had the top game for the Lady Panthers, knocking down 235 pins.
The Panthers set a WAC record by combining for 2,766 team score on Thursday.
Tyler Jones led Great Bend with a WAC-high series of 756, including a WAC-high game of 278.
The Panthers are 8-2 for the season, 3-2 in WAC play.
