The Great Bend High School’s ninth-grade boys’ basketball team was able to defeat Pratt in their season opener on Friday night.
Great Bend, which had scoring contributions from 11 of the 13 boys on the roster, was led in scoring by Chris Siedel, who put up 10 points.
Bryce Beck added seven points, and both Colton Lagerman and Nick Warren added six.
