DODGE CITY — Dodge City High School’s Zach Norton fired a 34 on his second nine holes, enabling him to post a 71 and beat teammate Jace Larson (72) by one stroke on Wednesday afternoon at Mariah Hills Golf Course.
The Red Demons had four of the top five medalists in running away with the Dodge City Invitational.
Great Bend finished in sixth place with a team score of 348. The Panthers were led by senior Tanner Neeland, who finished at 83, including 39 on his final nine holes. Chance Haney finished at 86 for Great Bend.
