HAYS — Great Bend High School opens the 2010-11 basketball campaign today at the annual Hays City Shoot-Out.
Both the GBHS boys and girls play Colby in opening-round games. The boys game is set for 4 p.m., and the girls game follows at 5:45. Those games will be held at the Felton Middle School.
Providing they win on the opening day, Great Bend’s boys will play the winner of the Thomas More Prep-Marian and Newton game at 4 p.m. on Friday at Hays High. A loss would put them in the losers’ bracket at 4 p.m. on Friday.
If they win today, the Lady Panthers will also play the winner of the TMP-Marian-Newton matchup.
