Great Bend Middle School wrestlers went 4-1 for second place Saturday at the first ever Battle at the Bend wrestling tournament. Five wrestlers went undefeated for the day going 5-0- Brantly Baldwin 80; Carsyn Schooler 90; George Weber 115; Gage Fritz 141; and Kevin Miramontes 180. “This was a very tough tournament and I’m very pleased with how far we have come this season.” said Head Coach Norbert Muth. “We really enjoyed hosting and I want to complement the athletes for showing a lot of class. Most of the kids picked up after themselves and kept the facilities in great shape. Thank you to everyone who helped out!” said Coach Muth.
