GBMS splits games with DC Commanche

The Great Bend Middle School eighth grade football team posted 265 yards en route to a 20-12 victory over Dodge City Commanche Middle School Thursday. Dalton Miller recorded two touchdown runs in that contest. The first was from 75 yards out. Gage Fritz then scored on a 25 yard run and added a two-point conversion scamper. Miller scored again on a 20 yard rush.

Bryce Brown and Nick Wondra each had and interception.

Aaron Newsome had a one yard touchdown run in the eighth grade B fifth quarter. GBMS won 6-0.

In the seventh grade game the Panthers dropped a 30-0 decision to Commanche. The seventh grade B team fell 12-6. Jacob Hinton notched an interception for the B team.
