Hoisington girls 54, Ellinwood 15LARNED — Hoisington’s girls scored 26 consecutive points and rolled past Ellinwood 54-15 Monday in the Gene Keady Basketball Classic. Rylie Koester paced the Cardinals with 20 points and Emma Harmon added 11 points.The Eagles led 4-2 before the Cardinals scored 26 straight points for a 28-4 lead. The Cardinals led 34-9 at halftime by converting 21 Ellinwood turnovers into 19 transition points.The Cardinals (1-1) will play Kiowa County in Friday’s 5:30 p.m. semifinal.
