c Great Bend Middle School
runners compete at WAC
LIBERAL — Great Bend Middle School’s Angel Razo was medalist at the Western Athletic Conference cross country meet and Panthers Aubrey Snapp and Emilia Diaz finished as runners-up. Carley Wells is head coach for the middle school cross country teams.
Razo (5:24) won the 7th-grade boys division for the sixth time and teammate Jonathan Pasos (5:32) placed third. There was a computer problem with the 7th grade race and results were available for the top 15 and the first-place team. It is likely that Great Bend would have placed second.
Aubrey Snapp (13:26) was runner-up in the 8th-grade girls division for her sixth top three finish. Azha Elliott (13:55) placed sixth. Great Bend placed fourth.
Emilia Diaz (6:03) was second in the 7th-grade girls division. Great Bend placed third. Great Bend placed sixth in the 8th-grade boys division.
The top seven runners in each age division were eligible to compete for Great Bend Middle School.
