DODGE CITY — The Great Bend Middle School volleyball team placed second with a 4-1 record at the Dodge City Middle School Volleyball Tournament. The middle school team was forced to overcome some injuries and illness.After beating Dodge City Comanche, 15-10, 15-9; Great bend defeated Pratt 13-15, 15-9, 15-12; Dodge City Middle School, 15-10, 15-10 and Holcomb 15-12, 15-9. In another marathon match, the Lady Panthers fell to Garden City Horace Good 12-15, 15-11, 17-19.
