Class 6A Manhattan shut out Great bend’s soccer team 9-0 Monday to snap the Panthers’ two-game winning streak.
Kaily Griffith scored the Panthers’ goal in a 1-0 victory over Buhler May 4. Great Bend also defeated Wichita Southeast 6-0 May 2.
Great Bend (4-10-1) plays Junction City at home Thursday in the final home game for seniors Arazeli Madrid, Kaily Griffith, Gladis Arellanes, Alma Garay, Melani Garcia, Aracelli Delgadillo and Jennifer Ramirez.
