ELLINWOOD — The Larned High School boys’ golf team won the Ellinwood tournament on Friday at Grove Park Golf Club.
The Indians shot a 312, beating second-place Ellinwood by 10 strokes. Central Plains took fourth (363), and Hoisington captured fifth (380).
Michael Reece of Larned won the tournament, carding a 73.
Tague Conrad finished sixth (78), Matt Reason took ninth (80) and Jake Zimmerman won a playoff for 10th (81) for the Indians.
Konnor Hickel took second with a 75 to be the lone medalist from Central Plains.
The Eagles had three medalists — Jared Oelke in third (76), Ryley Ney in seventh (80) and Gaven Vink in eighth (80).
