It’s Jam The Gym at Panther Fieldhouse tonight.
Marking their first home appearance of the season, the Great Bend High School Lady Panthers varsity and junior varsity volleyball teams entertain Goddard and Hutchinson.
Great Bend is 8-4 overall, having lost three matches last Thursday after winning eight of its first nine to open the season. It plays Goddard at 5 p.m. and Hutch at 7.
“To beat these teams, which we know we can and that we are at that level, everybody has to be consistent the entire match,” Great Bend head coach Kelsey Perry said of the losses to Cheney, Rose Hill and Garden Plain — all state-ranked teams in their own right.
“We didn’t have that consistency, so we couldn’t put together great matches. We learned a lot in these matches and are getting back on track for two great matches (tonight).”
