KINSLEY — The Kinsley Southwest Sox defeated the Great Bend Braves 5-2 in Thursday’s Legion baseball game.
Keller delivered a two-run double and the Southwest Sox scored four runs in the first inning.
The Braves scored two runs in the second inning. Layton Holden singled home Trevor DeLong and Jayce Kohls’ bases-loaded walk scored Miguel Martinez.
Christian Zahnter and Holden each delivered two hits. Jacob Hinton had a single. Braves pitcher Caden Bieker held the Southwest Sox to one run after the first inning.
