Lady Cards fall to Hesston

HOISINGTON — The Hoisington High School girls’ basketball team fell behind 20-9 after one half against Hesston on Saturday evening.
The Lady Cardinals scored 10 points in the final quarter, but couldn’t make up the difference, losing 38-24.
Sophomore point guard Jordin Greer led Hoisington (10-3) with 19 points, including two 3-pointers. Greer was the only player to score for Hoisington.
Laci McCartney finished with a game-high 15 points for Hesston. She finished with a trio of 3-pointers and 6-for-6 from the free-throw line.
