KINSLEY — Central Plains and Pawnee Heights got the track and field season started at the Kinsley Invitational.
The Lady Oilers finished in first place, and the Lady Tigers finished sixth.
Central Plains’ Julee McAtee won the 400 dash.
The Lady Oilers won five field events, with Maddie Demel winning the shot put and the discus, Breanna Holmes winning the high jump, Julie Demel winning the long jump and Taylor Rolfs winning the triple jump.
The Oilers finished fifth, and the Tigers seized sixth.
Jacob Hardiman won the 100, 200 and 400 for Pawnee Heights.
For the Oilers, Trustin Kreft won the long jump, and Kyler Schloctermeier won the javelin.
